Welcome
Loughborough Endowed Schools are situated on an impressive tree lined campus on the edge of Loughborough and consist of Loughborough Grammar School (boys 10-18), Loughborough High School (girls 11-18) and Fairfield Preparatory School (girls and boys 4-11). All of which are governed by the same governing body.
The three schools offer an excellent learning environment with stimulating modern facilities in a caring and positive atmosphere, providing a broad and balanced education, appropriate to the needs of the children in their care.
The links between the three schools are very strong, with the senior schools enjoying the many advantages of co-education but retaining a single sex teaching environment up to AS level. There are some joint lessons in the sixth form, and many extra curricular activities in all year groups are run jointly.
Whilst academic success is of great importance to all three schools and the students are prepared for the top universities in the country, there is also a great range of opportunities offered to every pupil through the numerous clubs and societies.
Education at the Loughborough Endowed Schools is truly a Preparation for Life in every way; the pupils have the opportunity to fulfil their potential both inside and outside the classroom.
Scholarships and Foundation Bursaries are available at the senior schools.
